Morningstar’s SunSaver MPPT™ solar controller with TrakStar™ Technology is an advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) battery charger for off-grid PV systems.

The SunSaver MPPT, with TrakStar Technology™ is rated for 15 amps at 12/24VDC and has become the world's leading small MPPT controller for off-grid PV systems. Our customers have realized the following benefits:

• To save energy, turns light off in the middle of the night and on again before sunrise (on-off-on)
• Fully adjustable: light running time, PV "trip" voltage to determine day and night, and other operating parameters
• Run load during the day and off at night (for water irrigation and other day time loads)
• Up to 4 programmable timer sequences allow for more sophisticated load control
